Breaking: Good News Hits United Camp Amidst Sack Coach Cry

A good news has hit Manchester United camp amidst the sack of their head coach Erik Ten Hag. They have been a whole lot of talks of late as regards the performance of the club, the worst of it was the 3-0 home loss to Tottenham Hotspur. In the game, their captain Bruno Fernandes was shown a straight red card in the first half of the game reducing Manchester United players to ten. The club has however appealed for the red as they believe the foul is not deserving of a red card.

Manchester United Won Appell on Bruno Fernandes Red Card

Following the appeal, goodness has hit their camp as they have now avoided a ban after they successfully appealed against it and won. Bruno Fernandes was shown a straight red card for a foul on Spurs English midfielder James Maddison and would have faced a three-match suspension which would have affected the club massively. Fernandes will now be available for the club’s forthcoming Premier League games which are against Aston Villa, Brentford, and West Ham.

Erik ten Hag’s side were 1-0 down when Fernandes was sent off and proceeded to lose 3-0, their third league defeat of the campaign.

After the game, Bruno Fernandes was speaking to newsmen and he said: “Never a red card – that is my view,” he, however, agreed that it was foul but he said it was not worth a red card, on that he said: “I agree that it is a foul.” “The referee tried to tell me that as he saw it was a clear contact with the studs. No. I didn’t touch him with the studs or even the foot, it was my ankle. It is a clear foul.” He also said: “If he wants to give me a yellow because they are going to go on a counter then I agree. But more than that, no. It is not the case.”

Manchester United’s next match is against Porto in the Europa League on Thursday as they did not make it to the Champions League before they return to league action against Aston Villa on Sunday.
