Following Super Eagles victory last night the interim manager Austin Eguavoen has got something to say about the boys. The manager was asked about Bayern Leverkusen star player Victor Boniface and his response was not really nice. Remember Victor Boniface is the replacement for Victor Osimhen but the player has not scored in a long time.
Victor Boniface has not been able to find the back of the net for a while now. As regards his national team goal draught the manager Austin Eguavoen has something to say. The manager compared the striker to Romario saying he romance the ball too much.
The coach said Victor would have scored many goals if he was not romancing the ball. He told news men that he is going to talk to the striker as regards that. The Super Eagles however did well to win the game.
They continue in their impressive form as they beat Libya 1-0 thanks to goal from Lazio star Fisayo Dele-Bashiru. The star player scored the only goal in the game. The Super Eagles dominated the whole game until the goal finally came. It was a deserved 1-0 win against Libya in Group D of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The game was played inside the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on.
It was a game that saw the Eagles dominate from start to finish. They eventually found the breakthrough as Dele-Bashiru tapped in a superb cross from Moses Simon. It is now two wins from three games )one draw) which takes the Eagles’ points to seven. They have so far scored four goals and are yet to concede a singer goal.
The Eagles will now head to Benghazi for the second leg which comes up on Tuesday, October 15, 2024.
