Ballon d’Or in Sight, Vinicius Shines in Madrid Win

Brazilian star Vinicius Junior who is favorite to win the Ballon d’Or scored a second-half hat-trick to help Real Madrid beat Dortmund 5-2. Borussia Dortmund started the game on a very high spirit but lost it along the line.

It was an excellent game from the Champions League defending champions Real Madrid to come from two down to win the game 5-2. Donyell Malen opened the goals for the visitors then Jamie Gittens gave scored the second to make it 2-0.

Dortmund looked very comfortable as they headed into the half time break with a two goals lead. In the start of the second half Carlo Ancelotti’s men came firing as they opened the their own scoring. Antonio Rudiger pulled a goal back for the Spanish champions with a towering header in the 60th minute before Vinicius levelled two minutes after.

The oldest Real Madrid player from academy who was the captain of the Spanish side Lucas Vazquez made it 3-2 to the hosts with a driven finish from a tight angle. We thought it was until Vinicius scored two late goals to take the game out of Dortmund’s reach, with both strikes coming after impressive solo efforts.
