Controversial broadcaster Daddy Freeze has responded sharply to actor Akah Nnani’s public call for prayers on his behalf.
Nnani, in an Instagram video, criticized Freeze for his comments on Pastor Emmanuel Iren. The pastor had earlier questioned politician Peter Obi’s assertion that Nigerians could achieve greater productivity by working night shifts instead of attending church vigils.
Akah claimed he felt led by the Holy Spirit to intercede for Freeze, urging others to join him in prayers. In a swift reaction, Daddy Freeze turned the narrative around, asserting that both Akah and Pastor Iren needed the prayers more.
Freeze’s comments have further ignited debates over the intersection of faith, productivity, and public critique. This ongoing back-and-forth highlights the tension between religious commentary and societal perspectives.
The assertion by Peter Obi has got Nigerians talking. Many claimed that prayer has got them where they are with the government doing nothing while many agreed with Peter Obi that many stayed in the place of the prayer when they should be productive.
Pastor Iren has earlier kicked back at Peter Obi has apologized for his lashing however standing by his faith no matter what.
