Manchester City striker Erling Haaland scored three goals as his side Norway thrashed Kazakhstan 5-0. The victory means they have now been promoted to the top flight of the Nations League.

The former Dortmund striker, who became his country’s record goalscorer last month, has now scored 38 goals in 39 appearances for Norway. Erling Haaland is the Nations League top scorer with seven goals in his six group games.
He scored the first after he slotted in a rebound after Antonio Nusa’s shot was saved by Stas Pokatilov. Haaaland then doubled the lead with a header from Nusa’s cross.
Alexander Sorloth made it 3-0 before the half-time break. Erling Haaland grabbed his third as he p[laced the ball into the bottom corner from the edge of the box.
Leipzig teenager Nusa scored Norway’s fifth goal. They overtook Austria, who drew 1-1 with Slovenia, to seal top spot in Group B3.
