How Tiwa Savage Rejected Range Rover Gift for Birthday

Nigerian music superstar Tiwa Savage has opened up about an incident in which she returned a Range Rover birthday gift from a suitor because she wasn’t romantically interested in him.

Speaking during an interview on Beat 99.9 FM, the award-winning artist explained her decision, emphasizing self-respect and financial independence.

“I once got a Range Rover for my birthday but returned it because I wasn’t feeling the guy. I also didn’t want to keep it because he might decide to retrieve the car if I kept snubbing his calls,” she disclosed.

The revelation has sparked mixed reactions online, with many applauding her stance. Social media user Walshak Kos commented, “This can only be possible when a lady is financially independent.”

Another user, Chris Francis, described her as “a real woman” who encourages authenticity in relationships.

Others highlighted Savage’s accomplishments, such as her financial success and prominence in the entertainment industry, as enabling her to make such a bold choice.
