Following Leicester City 2-1 home loss to Chelsea yesterday, the club have decided to part ways with their manager. The top EPL side have sacked manager Steve Cooper. The club is presently in the 16th place position in the English Premier League table after 12 games.

Leicester City were beaten 2-1 by a Chelsea under the management of their former head coach Enzo Maresca on Saturday. The defeat left them two points above the relegation zone.
Cooper who was with Nottingham Forest before he joined Leicester City took over from Maresca. Maresca took the EPL side from the Championship side to the Premier League as they won the 2023-24 Championship title
The EPL side dropped a statement saying: “Men’s first team training will be overseen by first team coach Ben Dawson, supported by coaches Danny Alcock and Andy Hughes, as the club begins the process of appointing a new manager, which we hope to conclude as soon as possible.”
Many were looking at Manchester City taking this action following their 4-0 home loss to Tottenham Hotspur. During the game, Spurs fans were chanting that Pep Guardiola will be fired the day little did they know that it was Cooper that will go.
