Manchester United Records New with Everton 4-0 win

Manchester United recorded their first Premier League home win under new manager Ruben Amorim. The manager collected his first Premier League win in a very emphatic way as they thrashed Everton 4-0.

The club played out a 1-1 draw in the manager’s first Premier League game which was against Ipswich last weekend.

They however made an amend as they recorded a win in the Europa League against Bodo/Glimt on Thursday. On Sunday they were initially wasteful in the final third and had little control of the contest, but they were clinical once they broke through with Marcus Rashford and Joshua Zirkzee both scoring two each.

Rashford’s low strike deflected in off the centre-back’s outstretched boot for the first goal before Bruno Fernandes, laid a good pass for Zirkzee to convert. United headed into the half time break with a two goals lead advantage.

29 seconds into the second half Diallo slid a pass through to Rashford to convert andmade it 3-0 and it was not long after before Dutchman Zirkzee coolly slotted United’s fourth on 64 minutes to wrap up a comfortable victory.

United have now beaten Everton 42 times in the Premier League, the highest tally of any side against one opponent in the competition.
