Super Eagles of Nigeria shot stoper Stanley Nwabali has lost his mother, months after losing his father. The Chippa United goalkeeper Nwabali shared the sad news of his mother’s death on X today. He posted: “Rip mom,” and he described it as the worst year of his life.

The year is just starting and the goalkeeper is already in sorry, he wrote: “worst year of my life already.“ He had earlier posted a very very crazy world indeed before dropping the sad news. We are not yet certain of the cause of the death of his mom.
Remember the Super Eagles star lost his father a few months back and now this. Teammates have been sending their condolences as it will be a very difficult time for the South Africa-based goalkeeper.
Nwabali made headlines last year following his impressive performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
After the tournament, he has gotten attention from many clubs but he is still with his South African club. Our thoughts and prayers are with the goalkeeper in this trying time.
