Harry Maguire ruined Manchester United chance to restore them back to winning as they gave Liverpool a tough game. United demonstrated great desire to win the game as they put out many chances. This is probably the most interesting game for United since the arrival of new manager Ruben Amorim.
Manchester United earned a superb point at Premier League leaders Liverpool home and is something to celebrate. Liverpool which currently the most inform club in Europe right hosted United and even though many predicted the game to be an easy win for them, United said no way.

The visitors headed into the game hoping to avoid four straight league defeats for the first time since 1979. They took a shock lead after Lisandro Martinez powered a finish high past Alisson after a goalless first half. The former Ajax defender powered in his first goal of the season in the 52nd minute of the game.
Liverpool were level seven minutes later when Cody Gakpo scored with a superb angled drive. The host team soon took the lead after they were given a penalty and Mohamed Salah did well to score the goal.
Just when Liverpool thought they had everything under control, Amad Diallo scored another big goal to put his team back in the game. Harry Maguire could have won the game for United but he blasted the ball away.
