Crystal Palace has turned down a bid from Tottenham Hotspur for Chelsea target Marc Guehi. It was reported that the club tabled a £70m for the player. The England international attracted interest from Newcastle, and Chelsea in the summer. Currently, he has 18 months left on his contract with Palace.

He has made 23 appearances so far and scored three goals in the Premier League this season for Crystal Palace. They are currently 12th on the league table. Spurs has been struggling of late and they want to boost up their team but the price they brought was turned down.

It is gathered that the club is likely not to increase their bid for the 24-year-old in this window. Crystal Palace turned down four bids from Newcastle for Guehi in the summer. The final bid was up to £65m. Chelsea also dropped a bid for the player but Palace turned it down.
Palace has just three fit centre-backs after Trevoh Chalobah was recalled from his loan spell by Chelsea and Chadi Riad sustained a long-term knee injury.
