Italian Serie A top side Atalanta are hopeful that the return of Super Eagle star player Ademola Lookman will boost their team ahead of their game against Club Brugge. The Europa League defending champions will welcome the Belgian club side for the return leg of their UEFA Champions League playoff tie.
The game is a very crucial one for them as they already lost the first leg 2-1. Ademola Lookman has been out for some time now due to injury. Since the African player of the year sustained the knee injury in training the club have not recorded a win.
The 27-year-old has missed six games across all competitions for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side. Ademola Lookman in their Sunday’s training session with the rest of the team. According to reports, the player will likely be available for the clash with Club Brugge on Tuesday.
So far, the Nigerian star has scored 14 goals and provided seven assists in 24 appearances across all competitions for La Dea this season.
