Darasimi, the estranged wife of comedian Ganiu Morufu, popularly known as Ijoba Lande, has refuted claims of infidelity that allegedly led to the collapse of their marriage.
In a viral interview, Ijoba Lande accused his wife of being involved with at least 21 men in the entertainment industry, including Yoruba actor Babatunde Tayo, popularly known as Baba Tee.

However, Darasimi has now spoken out, denying the allegations and providing her own account of events.
Speaking during an interview with socialite Esabod and other TikTokers on Sunday, she stated that she never cheated on her husband. According to her, the claims stemmed from an incident during a “Truth or Dare” game initiated by her friend, Marygold.
“The first time I met Baba Tee was in July last year when Marygold took me to his house to invite him to the launch of her movie. He didn’t even know I was Lande’s wife at the time. Later, Marygold suggested playing ‘Truth or Dare.’
At some point, she stripped naked and gave Baba Tee a BJ while they were smoking marijuana,” Darasimi recounted.
She further explained that Marygold dared Baba Tee to engage in sexual activity with her. “He went to get a condom, but I refused to have sex. I only sat on his lap, nothing more. We even told Marygold to turn away so she wouldn’t see us,” she added.
Darasimi insisted that infidelity was not the reason for her breakup with Ijoba Lande, refusing to disclose the actual cause for personal reasons.
In response to the allegations, Baba Tee admitted to having a brief sexual encounter with Darasimi but claimed it was a mistake that happened under the influence of alcohol.
In a Facebook post, he publicly apologized to Ijoba Lande, writing, “I am deeply sorry from the bottom of my heart, brother Lande. How Dara became Lande’s wife without my knowledge… Hmmm. I fear women.”
Meanwhile, Baba Tee who had earlier denied having sex with Darasimi has come out to say that they had a short affair during the said ‘Truth or Dare’ game.
