Afrobeats star Rema has emerged as the most-streamed Nigerian artist on YouTube for the first quarter of 2025.
The singer amassed an impressive 223 million streams between January and March. According to data from Nigerian music chart platforms, Rema’s global smash hit Calm Down played a pivotal role in this achievement, having surpassed a staggering 1 billion total streams.
Additionally, his latest single, Baby (Is It A Crime), secured the second position as the most-streamed Nigerian song on YouTube in 2025, with 14 million streams.

Other top-performing Nigerian artists in Q1 2025 include Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Davido, and Wizkid, all of whom continue to dominate the global Afrobeats scene.
