English Premier top side Chelsea have their midfielder Moises Caicedo’s seized by police after he was suspected of driving without valid licence. The car which is Audi RS Q8 is currently in police custody. The former Brighton 23-year-old was stopped in the car on Friday near the club’s training ground in Cobham, Surrey.
The incident happened on the 4th of April, a police spokesperson of the Surrey Police said: “A man in his 20s from Cobham was stopped by officers on Fairmile Lane in Cobham on Friday, April 4 and found to be driving without a licence.”

He also said: “The vehicle was seized, and our inquiries are ongoing.” Moises Caicedo’s club Chelsea is yet to commented on the issue. If police find that Caicedo has committed an offence then he could face a fine or a criminal prosecution.
Moises Caicedo’s joined Brighton from Independiente del Valle in 2021 before joining Chelsea for an initial £100m in August 2023 in a deal which could rise to £115m.
