Nigerian hip-hop sensation Odumodublvck has witnessed a dramatic spike in streams for his hit single “Declan Rice” following Arsenal’s emphatic 3-0 victory over Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.
The surge came in the wake of a spectacular performance by Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice, who scored two stunning free-kick goals during the quarterfinal clash.
The excitement among fans translated into a 200% increase in the song’s streams.
Reacting to the spike, Odumodublvck commented on social media:“Yesterday Declan Rice went 200% on streams. Make una use footballer name sing o.”

“Declan Rice” was originally released in March 2023 as part of Odumodublvck’s acclaimed project Eziokwu. The track marked a significant milestone in the rapper’s career, earning widespread commercial success and eventually clinching the Rap Song of the Year at the 16th Headies Awards.

At the time of the transfer announcement, the song’s streams on Spotify UK soared by a staggering 605%, underlining the powerful link between music and sports fandom.
