Nigerian internet personality and controversial socialite, Bobrisky, has declared that he is now a “complete woman” after undergoing a series of gender-affirming surgeries.
The self-acclaimed male Barbie made this known through a post on his Instagram page on May 22, 2025.
In the post, Bobrisky expressed excitement and confidence about the physical transformation he has achieved, noting that almost all necessary procedures to align with his female identity have been completed.
“Honestly, I don’t need to prove anything to anyone… I’m a complete woman now. All surgery done and dusted. Maybe one more sha. I need to reduce my jawline, face lift. Apart from dis I’m sexy asf,” he wrote.
Bobrisky, born Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, is one of Nigeria’s most prominent transgender figures. He rose to fame through social media, where he consistently challenged conventional gender norms and proudly displayed his transition journey.
Over the years, Bobrisky has openly documented his surgeries and cosmetic procedures, from skin transformation to body enhancement, often sparking debates and controversy within Nigeria’s conservative society.
Despite facing criticism, he has remained defiant, insisting on living his truth and embracing the identity that makes him feel fulfilled. This latest declaration underscores his commitment to fully transition and live as a woman.
While he admitted that a few tweaks—such as jawline reduction and a facelift—are still in consideration, Bobrisky maintained that his transition is now essentially complete.
His statement has once again ignited conversations around gender identity and expression in Nigeria, where legal and social acceptance of transgender individuals remains limited.
