English Premier League defending champions Liverpool have joined the race to sign Nigerian star player Victor Osimhen. According to reports the club is considering Victor Osimhen as their next striker as they will be without Darwin Nunez next season.
It is said that Liverpool wants the 26-year-old Nigerian to burst the attack line as a support for Mohamed Salah. Remember they the coach Arne Slot asked Darwin Nunez to leave the club before the end of the season. So, should Nunez leave it will just be Jota in the attack line.
Victor Osimhen is one striker that many English clubs have coming for, the likes of Manchester United and Arsenal were keen on the player. Right now Liverpool has joined the race to sign the Nigerian who have turned down a mouth watering deal from Saudi Pro League top side.
Should Osimhen and Liverpool further with the deal it will their third signing in the transfer window after Wirtz and Fringpong’s arrival.
