Nigerian music superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, paid a heartfelt tribute to his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, during his white wedding with Chioma Rowland in Miami on Saturday, August 10, 2025.
The “Unavailable” crooner was spotted wearing custom cufflinks featuring an image of Ifeanyi, a touching gesture to honor his memory on one of the most significant days of his life.

Davido shared a close-up photo of his hand after getting dressed, showcasing the sentimental accessory to his millions of fans.
Davido and Chioma’s son, Ifeanyi, tragically passed away in October 2022 after a drowning incident at the family’s residence in Banana Island, Lagos. The toddler, who had just celebrated his third birthday a few days earlier, was reported to have wandered into the pool area while under the care of minders.
Despite efforts to resuscitate him, he was confirmed dead at a Lagos hospital. The heartbreaking incident shook Nigeria and the global entertainment community, with an outpouring of condolences from fans, celebrities, and political figures.
Davido, known for his vibrant and outgoing personality, withdrew from the public eye for several months, canceling performances and stepping away from social media to grieve privately with Chioma and their families.
In an interview in 2023, Davido described the period following Ifeanyi’s death as “the darkest time of my life,” admitting that the pain was unimaginable. However, he credited music, his faith, and the support of loved ones for helping him gradually heal.
Since then, the couple has welcomed another child and has continued to strengthen their relationship, culminating in their grand white wedding in Miami.
