The 2025 AFCON journey is getting more and more interesting as some countries have already qualified for the tournament. The 2025 AFCON will be hosted by Morocco and is heating up, with several teams already securing their spots for the tournament.
Cameroon, DR Congo, Senegal and Algeria Qualifies for AFCON 2025
As the qualifying matches progress, Matchday Four comes with 23 games, spread across three days, as teams from 12 groups battle fiercely for a chance to compete on the continental stage.
This article is to let you how many countries so far has made it through and their names. As of now, four countries have secured their place in the tournament. This countries includes Senegal, DR Congo, Algeria, and Cameroon.
This four countries did not loose any of their qualifying games. Had Nigeria played their game against Libya which was abandoned and win they would also made it to the teams that have qualified.
The likes of Ghana and Mali are still competing to secure a spot. Ghana specifically is yet to register a win in the qualifiers. They have drawn almost all thier games and the last one against Sudan they lost so they need a great miracle to make it to the tournament next year.
The last two rounds of qualifiers will take place next month, with more teams looking to join the already-qualified nations. The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will kick off on 21 December next year, ending on the 18 January 2026.
