Super Eagles of Nigeria and Fulham star Alex Iwobi is now the second Nigerian player with the highest number of appearances in the English Premier League. The former Arsenal and Everton player achieved the feat in his side’s 3-2 defeat to West Ham United.

The Nigerian started his career with Arsenal where he made 100 league appearances, before switching to Everton. He featured in 123 league games for the Merseyside club. Alex has been very impactful in his new club Fulham, the playmaker has contributed greatly to their growth.
