The manager was asked for a specific time frame, but he said: “We have to see how he reacts post-surgery. I don’t expect it to be half a year, but I cannot tell you exactly.”
Chances are that both Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka available for the game for Arsenal after the pair recovered from knocks. Another injury fear for Arsenal is defender Riccardo Calafiori. The player is in contention for Saturday’s game after a month out with a knee injury, but Takehiro Tomiyasu is still sidelined.
