German Bundesliga Bayern Leverkusen continue their impressive run as they beat league rivals Borussia Dortmund. They had three early goals and those goals were able to save their day even though Dortmund fought back.
The win means their chance of retaining the league is still very much alive as they now mount pressure on leaders Bayern Munich. Dortmund had not suffered a home league defeat this season but Bayern Leverkensun broke that record in the Friday clash.
Super Eagles of Nigeria star Nathan Tella opened the scoring just 24 seconds into the game by expertly smashing home on the half-volley from the edge of the box. The second goal came from Patrik Schick who slid in a low Piero Hincapie cross past keeper Gregor Kobel.

Dortmund soon came back into the game after England Under-21 winger Jamie Gittens scooped the ball over Lukas Hradecky. Schick soon got his brace, tracking a low ball from Jeremie Frimpong and driving home at the far post.
The result left Bayern Leverkusen a point behind leaders Bayern Munich in the table, having played a game more, while Dortmund stand sixth and 11 points off top spot.
