Nigerian rapper Emeka Akumefule, famously known as Blaqbonez, has confidently proclaimed his supremacy in the African rap scene.
Speaking in a recent interview with Chude, Blaqbonez Declares Himself Africa’s Top Rapper, the outspoken artist declared himself the continent’s best rapper, claiming that his extensive body of work outshines that of any competitor.
“I still think I am the best rapper ever in Africa. No one has a better discography than me,” Blaqbonez stated emphatically.

Known for his innovative approach to music, Blaqbonez has often celebrated his prolific output. He once claimed to have composed thousands of songs and even adopted a routine of weekly releases during one period of his career.

The African rap landscape boasts a rich array of talent, including celebrated figures such as M.I Abaga, Olamide, Vector, Phyno, Falz, and Reminisce. Each of these artists has significantly contributed to the genre, crafting unique styles and impactful discographies.
Despite this, Blaqbonez remains resolute in his belief that he holds the crown. Blaqbonez has consistently embraced the spotlight, combining musical talent with a charismatic persona that keeps audiences engaged.
