Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes stole the spot light last night as he scored a hat-trick to lead his side to victory against 10-man Real Sociedad. The game was the return lag of 1-1 draw of the round of 16 clash of the Europa League.

Manchester United welcomed the Spanish side to their Old Trafford and book a Europa League quarter-final encounter with French club Lyon.
It was a needed victory for the host team and United skipper Bruno Fernandes was there for his team. The game started on a very sad note for the home team as they were forced to start coming from behind. Real Sociedad was awarded in the first 10 minutes of the game.

They go the goal and made the scores 2-1 on aggregate but United soon got their own penalty and Fernandes was good to settle the scores. It was 1-1 on the first half break but United grabbed the second immediately they came for the second half.

It was another penalty and Bruno Fernandes nailed it. The visitor’s hope of coming back was dashed when Jon Aramburu was shown a red for a fouled on Patrick Dorgu. But just for good measure, United struck twice more before the end.
Fernandes completed his second hat-trick for the club with a low finish across goal and into the far corner. Follow Portuguese star Diogo Dalot registered his own name as he scored in stoppage time. Manchester United is the only club in the Europa and Champions League that is unbeaten in the competition this season.
