Arsenal returned to winning as they beat Fulham 2-1 in the Emirate Stadium. The highlight of the game was the return of Bukayo Saka who scored just seven minutes into his return after 101 days. Remember the Englishman was ruled out through injury months.
Bukayo Saka came off the bench in the second half, with the score at 1-0, and he welcomed himself well to the team. Mikel Merino had given the Arsenal the lead in the 37th minute when his shot was deflected into the corner after Ethan Nwaneri’s cut-back.

Rodrigo Muniz pulled a goal back for Fulham in stoppage time when his shot was deflected by William Saliba and wrong-footed goalkeeper David Raya. The win means Arsenal are now within nine points of leaders Liverpool.
The game however took a twist as one of their solid defender was focred off the pitch due to injury. Centre-back Gabriel was sub off early in the first half, which is a worry for manager Mikel Arteta. Remember they have a Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid next week.
They will now be playing without Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, Califeri and now Gabriel has joined the injury list.
