Cardi B, the chart-topping rapper, marked her 32nd birthday in style by returning to a club where she worked as a stripper. The artist, born Belcalis Almánzar, took to Instagram to share her nostalgic experience and fun-filled night.
The celebration took place on Saturday night in a private New York City club, and despite being recently separated from her husband, Offset, Cardi was determined to have a memorable night.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, October 13, the rapper shared a video reflecting on her wild night, appearing worse for wear. “I’m never going outside again,” she told her fans, her makeup and false eyelashes still intact. Jokingly, she added, “I will never, ever drink again.”

Cardi further shared a screenshot of a message to a friend in which she humorously admitted that she had “a time” and was “throwing up all the way to the afterparty.” The culprit, she claimed, was Hennessy cognac, as she declared, “They need to ban Hennessy out this country” after reportedly polishing off a bottle at the event.
Ahead of her night out, Cardi posted pictures of herself in a black minidress, explaining in the caption that her original birthday outfit was too small.
Determined to make the night unforgettable, she drove to Satin Dolls Gentlemen’s Club & Sports Bar—where she had worked for four years—and picked up the new outfit.
She fondly recalled how the staff at the club still saw her as “Camilla,” her stripper name, rather than the superstar Cardi B. “I love the fact that they don’t see me like CARDI B… they still treat me like CAMILLA,” she wrote, sharing a fun fact about her past.
Cardi began stripping at the age of 19 and left the profession by the time she was 23. Her time as a stripper was a stepping stone on her path to global fame, and her birthday celebration was a nostalgic return to her roots.
While the night may have left her swearing off alcohol for a while, Cardi’s fans enjoyed the glimpse into her fun and reflective side as she marked another year in her eventful life.
