According to reports Super Eagles and AC Milan star Samuel Chukwueze could be on his way to a Spanish return as Real Betis wants him. It is said that Real Betis have already opened talks with Serie A giants AC Milan for the former Villareal winger.
Samuel Chukwueze joined the Italian side AC Milan from Villarreal for €21.1m plus up to €7m in add-ons in 2023. Since arriving the club, the Nigeria international has scored eight goals and provided eight assists in 69 appearances.
The 26-year-old was close to joining Premier League club Fulham in January but the deal did not pull through. AC Milan are looking to release many players from their club and he is one of the selected players to leave.
The former European champions finished eighth in Serie A, which means no European competition for them next season’s Champions League.
