Social media commentator Daniel Regha has urged Nigerian superstar Davido to intervene and caution his close associate, Cubana Chief Priest, amidst the ongoing war of words between the socialite and Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy.

The public spat began when Burna Boy reportedly referred to Cubana Chief Priest as the “Owerri Rick Ross.”

In response, Chief Priest insinuated that Burna Boy’s Grammy win was influenced by the involvement of music mogul Diddy, a claim that has sparked widespread online reactions.

Weighing in on the drama, Regha criticized Cubana Chief Priest’s clap-back, labeling it “below the belt” and questioning the maturity of the socialite’s response.

Regha expressed his dismay over the public exchange, describing it as embarrassing and a poor reflection of class for both parties involved.

In his words, Regha stated:“Davido needs to caution Cubana Chief Priest; using the Diddy allegation(s) as a clap-back is below the belt, it’s neither funny nor a sign of maturity.

In as much as Burna is in the wrong, there should be a line one shouldn’t cross for the sake of clout, and Cubana should be the last person throwing shades. All that money, but these people can’t show any form of class, it’s embarrassing to say the least.”

The feud has drawn mixed reactions on social media, with fans and critics chiming in on the altercation. Many agree with Regha’s sentiments, urging celebrities to maintain decorum and avoid unnecessary controversies that detract from their achievements.

This incident highlights the ongoing trend of public disputes among prominent figures in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, a phenomenon that continues to stir debates about professionalism and maturity in handling personal disagreements.

As of now, neither Davido nor Burna Boy has officially addressed the comments. The feud remains a hot topic, sparking discussions on how celebrities should manage their relationships and public image in the age of social media.
