The English Premier League matchday 27 kicked off with Manchester City looking fly. They travelled to Tottenham and their striker Erling Haaland scored the only goal as they won. Manchester City is solidifying their top four finish as they just one point behind Nottingham Forest and seven points behind Arsenal.
City started strongly and went ahead in the 12th minute through Haaland’s goal. Haaland thought he had scored a second City goal in stoppage time but referee Jarred Gillett judged that he handled the ball. The victory moves Manchester City up to fourth in the table, while Spurs sit 13th.

For second place Arsenal, their chances of contending gor the title is now very slim. Their title hopes faded further after a frustrating draw at Nottingham Forest. The goalless draw at the City Ground meant the Gunners failed to close the gap on leaders Liverpool.
Arsenal lost at home to West Ham United and dropped points against third-placed Forest now. They are now 11 points behind Liverpool. The head coach Mikel Arteta however has vowed to keep fighting.

Manchester United continue in their struggle to survive relegation as they move to the 14th place position with Ten-man against Ipswich. They recovered from gifting Ipswich a fourth-minute opener at Old Trafford. Thanks to Harry Maguire and De ligt they come out on top in a five-goal thriller.
Maguire powered home Bruno Fernandes’ corner two minutes into the second half to give Ruben Amorin only his third home Premier League win. United looked down after Patrick Dorgu was sent off before the break following the intervention of VAR. The visitors immediately capitalised on the extra man to level the scores before half time break.

Brentford welcomed Everton who have been unbeaten in their last five games. The home team opened the scoring in the second half but David Moyes men soon found the equalizer. Everton are now in the 15th place position one point behind Manchester United. Brentford on the other hand is in the 11th place position with 38 points.
