Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has opened up on his side’s 2-2 draw with Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge. The manager was not happy with the result as he said it is not expected. Cole Palmer opened the scoring for the Blues in the first half but Justin Kluivert equalized from the penalty spot.
Ghanaian star and Antoine Semenyo soon put Bournemouth ahead later on in the second half. However, deep into stoppage time Reece James scored from a free-kick to help the Blues with a share of the spoils.

The result means Chelsea are now winless in their last five consecutive league games. Reacting to the result Enzo Maresca, in his post-match press conference said his side was wastefulness in front of goal.
The manager said: “There’s positives to take away from the game, going behind to come back and take a point but there’s negatives not taking chances. (It’s) mixed emotions.”
He also said: “To be honest I don’t (feel a draw was the fair result). We had a few clear cut chances we should have taken in the first half and put the game to bed.” “That can come back to bite you in the arse. That’s across football globally, if you don’t take chances it could come back and hurt you.”
