Following the Super Eagles’ poor performance in their last World Cup qualifier, many Nigerians has come out to express their anger. Their failure to secure all three points against Zimbabwe in Tuesday’s Matchday 6 clash at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, has been attributed to poor game management.
While many are faulting the coach, others are faulting the players. Remember Nigerian has so far played six games and picked up only seven points from possible 18 points. One of the persons blaming the coach said: “I don’t know why he brought on a second striker. He must have had his reasons, but I thought a more defensive-minded player would have been better for Osimhen.”

Others are saying the players failed to utilize their chances and Nigeria had to suffer for failing to use their chances when they had the chance. Victor Osimhen was very furious after the game and he was not happy with the players. The team only won their first game in matchday 5 thanks Victor Osimhen.
The former Lille man has scored three goals in his two appearance for the team. Many are saying now that dose it mean that without him on the pitch the players cant win a match? Osimhen got the goal and it was when he was substituted that the equalizer came and the game ended minutes later.
