Popular Nigerian TV host and filmmaker, Frank Edoho, has stirred conversations online after firmly stating that he would never buy a Lamborghini for a woman.
Edoho, known for his sharp wit and candid opinions, described himself as a “street boy” while discussing the topic in a recently surfaced video on social media platform X (formerly Twitter).
The discussion stemmed from the ongoing online controversy between Nigerian music star Burna Boy and Sophia Egbueje. Sophia had earlier alleged that Burna Boy promised to buy her a Lamborghini but failed to fulfill his pledge.
In response, Burna Boy dismissed her claims in a mocking statement, making it clear that he never intended to buy her the luxury car.
However, just two days after the controversy erupted, Sophia shared images of her newly acquired car, fueling further reactions.
In the midst of this viral debate, Frank Edoho was asked by a group of men whether he would ever consider buying a Lamborghini for a woman. Without hesitation, he dismissed the idea, stating emphatically that he wouldn’t do so—even for a romantic partner.
Instead, he maintained that if anyone deserved such an extravagant gift, it would be his daughter.“Buy a girl a Lamborghini? Me, a street boy? I cannot. I haven’t even bought a Lamborghini for my daughter,” Edoho declared in the viral video.
His statement quickly gained traction online, with social media users flooding the comment section to express diverse opinions on his stance. While some applauded his perspective on financial priorities, others debated the broader implications of extravagant gifting in relationships.
