Good News Hits United Squad Ahead of Liverpool Clash

Manchester United and England forward Marcus Rashford has been dropped from the traveling team that will play Liverpool. The player is said to be ill and so he will not be part of the players to play against set to miss Sunday’s Premier League trip to Liverpool through illness.

Marcus Rashford was left out of manager’s squad for four games. It was said that the player was left out due to his poor performance in training and his attitude around club colleagues.

Head coach Amorim brought Rashford back into the squad for their home game against Newcastle United. The game ended 3-0 making it their fourth consecutive defeat and third successive game without a goal.

Italian Serie A top side Napoli are the latest club to be linked with Rashford. It is said that the player will be allowed to go on loan if the Napoli will pay his wages which is excess of £300,000-a-week.

Manchester United sits in the 14th place position in the league table heading into the weekend’s fixtures. They are lucky as both Bruno Fernandes and Manuel Ugarte will be returning from suspension at Anfield.

They will be playing the best team in Europe presently and so they will need all the help they can get. The manager talking about Marcus Rashford said: “At the moment he is ill,” said Amorim. “He is not training and this week he is out.”

Asked about Rashford’s position within the club, he added: “It’s the same situation. We will see in the future, but this is like a normal player and then I make a selection.”
