Media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu has shared the inspiring journey of his close friend, Rev. Fr. Chris.
The friend was recently ordained a Catholic priest—eight years after giving up a successful business and two university degrees to join the seminary.
Back in 2018, Ebuka publicly revealed that his friend had made the life-altering decision to pursue priesthood, abandoning his lucrative multi-million naira company and academic achievements at the age of 30.

Chris had joined the seminary in 2017, choosing a path of spiritual devotion over material success. On Sunday, July 6, 2025, Ebuka took to Instagram to celebrate his friend’s ordination, sharing touching photos and a heartfelt video from the ceremony.
“He actually did that. So inspiring,” Ebuka wrote in the caption.“My friend is a Catholic priest, guys!!! So proud of you, Chris nwa Orajis.”

The post quickly drew admiration from fans and followers, many of whom were deeply moved by the story of sacrifice, purpose, and faith.
