Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has once again proven her dominance in the Nigerian film industry.
The thespian’s latest movie, Everybody Loves Jenifa, grossing a staggering N1.8 billion at the box office.
However, despite the impressive figure, Akindele playfully reminded her fans that she doesn’t take home the entire earnings, as multiple stakeholders—cinemas, tax authorities, and distributors—claim their share.
In a lighthearted appeal, the award-winning actress encouraged moviegoers to continue supporting Everybody Loves Jenifa, expressing her desire to hit the N2 billion milestone.
