The Nigerian box office continues to flourish, with Family Gbese, the latest offering from Inkblot Productions, amassing an impressive N28.1 million in just two weeks.

The film debuted with N15.2 million in its first week and secured an additional N12.7 million in its second week, showcasing its popularity among Nigerian cinema-goers.

Crafted by Chinaza Onuzo and directed by Michelle Bello, Family Gbese narrates the gripping tale of a young man enjoying career success until his life takes a dramatic turn due to his elder brother’s gambling addiction.

The film explores themes of family, loyalty, and the cost of success, with the protagonist caught in a moral dilemma—saving.

The movie features a stellar cast including Ireti Doyle, Muyiwa Ademola, Adeniyi Johnson, and Yemi Solade, among others, with each actor delivering powerful performances that deepen the audience’s connection to the characters.
