It was a turn around for Barcelona as they humiliated Bayern Munich in their 4-1 Champions League win on Wednesday night. The game was remarkable because this is the first time Barca is beating Bayern Munich in a very long time.

The large part of praises for the players goes to three “exceptional” young midfielders. Brazilian star Raphinha got his first ever hat-trick Barca. Barcelona’s win was built off Marc Casado, Pedri and Fermin Lopez’s tireless work in the middle.
All three are just 21 years old, while two of them are fortunate to even be in the side. The most interesting part of the whole story is the fact that the same coach who coached Bayern to beat Barca 8-2 is the same coach who has turned the tables around. Hansi Flick coached Bayern Munich and helped them beat Barcelona a few years ago but was sacked months later.
The manager was hired by Barcelona after the sack of Xavi. The manager has so far been very impressive as he has only lost three games in all this season. Barca are currently topping their league haven lost just one game so far.
Bayern Munich on the hand recorded their first lose of the season last night in the hands of Hamsi Flick. Bayern Munich are currently topping their league too but this lose is one which came as a shock to them. The question people are asking now could this be the start of a new story for Barca? Last night will be remembered for long for Raphinha as it is his first Champions League hat-trick.
The new Champions League format is one which all the clubs will against each so the possibility of Bayern getting a revenge now is slim. They will have to hope to make it to the next stage to be able to plan a revenge.
