Popular Nigerian actress Iyabo Ojo is once again in the eye of the storm as some Nigerians were recently spotted protesting on the streets against her alleged involvement in the case of the late singer, Mohbad.
This public demonstration comes just days after her Lagos-based shop was engulfed in flames under suspicious circumstances.

The protest adds a new layer to the growing tension surrounding the actress, who has been vocal and active in seeking justice for Mohbad, following his controversial death in 2023.
Critics of the actress are now accusing her of overstepping boundaries, with some even blaming her for influencing the trajectory of the case.
Adding to the controversy, Iyabo Ojo’s daughter, Priscilla Ojo, took to social media to reveal a disturbing letter her mother had received before her wedding in May.
The letter, allegedly written by an anonymous but aggrieved group, threatened to retaliate after the wedding and issued a chilling warning: “You can’t escape in the next three months.”

In the letter, the group claimed Iyabo Ojo had “ruined the life” of someone they failed to name and vowed to destroy the marriage between Priscilla and her Tanzanian husband, Juma Jux.
The threatening note has sparked concern among fans and well-wishers, especially following the shop fire incident, which many now believe may not have been accidental.
Neither Iyabo Ojo nor Priscilla has issued an official statement addressing the protests or revealing further details about the threats. However, the timing of the events—the fire, the resurfacing letter, and now public demonstrations—has raised alarms about the safety of the actress and her family.
While authorities are yet to comment on the threats or the source of the fire, calls for proper investigation into the matter are growing louder. Meanwhile, support continues to pour in from fans and colleagues who urge Iyabo Ojo to remain strong in the face of adversity.
