Controversial show promoter Sam Larry has stirred the pot again, this time taking a swipe at Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo.
Sam Larry mocked the actress after she disabled comments on her Instagram post following backlash linked to the ongoing investigation into the late singer Mohbad’s death.

Iyabo Ojo Dragged Into WhatsApp Group Allegations
The actress found herself at the center of renewed controversy after popular online activist Verydarkman accused her of being part of a clandestine WhatsApp group allegedly formed by some celebrities.
According to Verydarkman, this group was reportedly plotting to silence him or even orchestrate his imprisonment as he continues to push for justice for Mohbad.
Iyabo Ojo wasted no time in refuting the claims. She described the allegations as “baseless, defamatory, and malicious.” Despite her denial, she turned off the comment section on her response post, a move that drew even more criticism from the public. Eventually, the post was taken down entirely.
Sam Larry Throws Sarcastic Jab
Weighing in on the situation, Sam Larry, who has himself faced intense scrutiny and allegations in connection to Mohbad’s tragic death, took to social media to taunt the actress.
“Small thing una dey off comment. Me wey dem say I kill Diego Jota, kill Buhari, I no off comment. Wọn tun sọ pé mo pa TV 😂😂😂. Iyabo Ojo and the Mohbad Case
Iyabo Ojo has been a vocal advocate for justice since the untimely death of singer Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, in September 2023.
She was among the first celebrities to demand a full investigation, often updating the public through her social media platforms and standing with Mohbad’s family.
However, the recent accusations from Verydarkman have complicated her position in the matter, putting her integrity and intentions under public scrutiny.
With Sam Larry’s mocking post now fanning the flames, Iyabo Ojo’s role in the Mohbad saga continues to generate heated debates online.
