Popular American actor and comedian Kevin Hart has revealed why he no longer wears jeans, citing discomfort as he gets older.
The 45-year-old entertainer shared his thoughts on his evolving fashion choices during a recent interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
Hart explained that aging has significantly influenced his wardrobe, leading him to opt for more comfortable clothing instead of denim.
“I don’t wear jeans anymore because I’m getting older. It’s all pants, all slacks. I mean, I’m over 40, I feel like the good pant is necessary,” he stated.

According to him, jeans are no longer as comfortable as they used to be, especially when it comes to mobility and how they feel on his body.“
Jeans are not the same. Jeans hurt, and they are not comfortable. I need a comfortable slack. I need something that I can move in, something that’s soft,” he added.
Hart further emphasized that denim feels restrictive, particularly around his knees and waist, making sitting down an unpleasant experience.
“I don’t like how jeans feel on my knees. They hurt my knees. They hurt my waist, like when you sit down, I don’t like how jeans dig in my waist,” he explained.
The comedian also noted that his fashion sense began changing when he turned 40, and as he approaches 46, he foresees another shift in his wardrobe.
“My dress sense changed when I clocked 40. I’m 45 now. I’m about 46. So it changes. At 50, I’m going on all sweatpants,” he humorously remarked.
