Spanish La liga star player Lamine Yamal in a recent video has revealed the teams that do the worst damage to Barcelona. The Barca prodigy Yamal has claimed that the Catalan giants and rivals Real Madrid do the most damage to each other.
Lamine Yamal has faced Real Madrid five times in his career so far and won twice, both wins coming this season. This is possibly the reason the player is saying this. Remember since the departure of Ronaldo and Messi from the league the spark of El Clasico seems down.
But the arrival Vinicius Jnr, Mbappe and now Lamina Yamal the spark is getting its hype back. Yamal delivered exceptional performances against Madrid in the both El Clasicos they won this season. He scored once in each of the games.
In an interview Yamal said: ”Matches against Real Madrid are always very exciting. We’re the team that causes them the most damage, and vice versa, because they’re a great team.”
The rivalry between Barcelona and Real Madrid is an age-old rivalry that dates back to the early 1900s. The feud ignited further between 2009 and 2018, when two of the greatest legends of the game, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo were there.
The next LaLiga El Clasico fixture is scheduled on the 11th of May 2025. However, the two teams can face each other more times in tournaments like the Copa del Rey and the Champions League.
