Barcelona suffered yet another loss as Real Madrid stands chance to close the gap. Barca has played more games than the defending champions Real Madrid and are topping with four points.
Barcelona 125th Year Anniversary Ruined by Small Las Palmas
Should their rival win tomorrow they will be topping with just one point Madrid will still have a game at hand. Hansi Flick’s side had 26 shots in the match, which is their highest total in a league match this season, but that did not result to victory.

The club which was celebrating their 125th anniversary had their celebrations cut short. They were dampened as they fell to a surprise defeat against struggling Las Palmas in front of their home fans.
The visitors went in front when former Barca striker Sandro fired a low effort across goal to a chorus of boos and whistles from the home crowd. Barcelona skipper Raphinha equalised for the hosts with an unstoppable low drive into the net.
But visitors went back in front few minutes later as Wolves loanee Fabio Silva scored his fifth league goal of the season. The result means Las Palmas climb to 14th in the league.
Real Madrid will be playing Getafe tomorrow Sunday and it is expected that they use the opportunity to close the gap. Real Madrid loss 2-0 against English Premier League side Liverpool in the Champions League so, many are expecting a come from the Champions League defending champions.
