Nasboi Sets Creative Challenge to Secure Music Verse from Davido

Fast-rising Afrobeats singer and comedian, Nasboi, has launched a bold and unconventional campaign to secure a music collaboration with superstar Davido.

In a move that has captured national attention, Nasboi is traveling to all 36 states of Nigeria, kneeling in each one to beg Davido for a verse on his upcoming song.

The campaign began in Osun State, where Nasboi was seen kneeling with a placard outside the Osun State Government Secretariat. The sign read like a heartfelt plea, symbolizing the beginning of a journey he hopes will end with a musical blessing from one of Nigeria’s biggest stars.

Sharing the motivation behind the campaign on Instagram, Nasboi wrote: “In 2019, I started mimicking Davido to get his attention for my music, but the videos blew me up as a comedian… God’s plan.

I am back to plea with 001. Bless me with a verse for this song, king. I will be kneeling across 36 states for 36 days. I pray this dream comes to pass.”

Nasboi’s journey is not just a show of determination—it’s also a powerful message about persistence and creativity in the music industry. With each post, he urges fans to support him by tagging Davido and amplifying the movement online.

The second day of the campaign saw Nasboi in Kano State, kneeling once again with a placard in front of the Kano State Government House. His consistency and humility have earned him admiration across social media, with many fans praising his drive and unique approach to securing a collaboration.

Davido, known for his accessibility and love for grassroots talent, has responded with a playful message on Instagram:

“Set up 😂”

Though light-hearted, the response has only increased anticipation that the Afrobeats heavyweight may eventually grant the request.
