Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has called on Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, to reciprocate the support he received during the last general elections by promoting his latest album.
Expressing his disappointment on social media, the rapper criticized Obi’s silence regarding the release of his music project.
He emphasized that his support for Obi during the elections was significant and expected similar backing in return.
Addressing Obi directly, Odumodublvck wrote: “@PeterObi hello Mr. Peter Obi. I supported you that year. Oya, support me now. Oya do video dey talk ‘The Machine’ is coming. Abeg. Me and you never ever get a problem before. Make e no start now.”
He further stated: “The time wey I support Peter Obi na with sweat and blood. If he cannot give me a ‘common’ tweet, then me and am go fight. I no dey hide my mouth. Make una dey talk una own. The Machine is coming.”
The rapper’s comments have sparked reactions on social media, with many debating whether politicians owe entertainers public support in return for past endorsements.
Odumodublvck, known for his bold and unconventional approach, continues to make waves in the Nigerian music scene. His upcoming album, ‘The Machine,’ is set for release soon.
Recently, the rapper a snippet one of his expected tracks from the album featuring fellow rapper, Vector Tha Viper titled “Gasoline”.
