PHILANTHROPIST, KLM PRESENTS CASH PRIZE AWARDS TO BEST GRADUATING EKSU STUDENTS.

In what further attested to his unwavering commitment to Service to Humanity, Philanthropist and Expert in the field of Engineering, Engr. Prince Adeniran Kilomodemo Ibitoye popularly known as KLM has presented Cash prize Awards to Best Graduating Students during the Endowment Fund at the 29th Convocation Ceremony of the Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State.

Duirng the ceremony held inside the Hall of the University on Friday, 28th March 2025, KLM was announced as the Sponsor of the Awards for the Best Graduating Student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Overall Best Graduating Student in the Faculty of Engineering.

The EKSU Alumni Association Endowment Prize Awards were presented to Falowo Emmanuel Oyindamola as the Best Graduating Student in the Faculty of Engineering for 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 Academic Session.

Also, Jegede Oluwafemi Joshua bagged Award of the Best Graduating Student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering for 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 Academic Session.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the sponsorship of the Awards, Engineer Ibitoye who is an Almunus of the school described the gesture as part of his commitment to Service to Humanity and to serve as an encouragement to aspiring Engineers, noting that it always gladdens his heart to motivate students who are giving their best to standing out in their Academics.

“This is another opportunity for me to encourage the students who have displayed Excellence in their Academics and this is not the first time I will be doing such to encourage students even at the Secondary School level, because, I believe that this is the way I could lend my voice to preaching Excellence among students that are pursuing Academic Excellence” KLM said.

Aside from the presentation of the Awards, Engineer Ibitoye encouraged the students to make Excellence their watchword, adding that they should focus on what motivates them to give their best and always aspire to be the Best among equals.

“Beyond the Award of Excellence, I always encourage youths whenever I am in their midst that nothing beats being the best among equals in whatever you do, because, by so doing they will stand out and people like us will be there to guide them where and when necessary” KLM added.

Award Recipients React

The Award recipients expressed delight over Engineer Ibitoye’s gesture describing as encouraging and a spur for them to keep giving their best wherever they find themselves in life.

They said the Cash prize Awards will go a long way in encouraging them to stay focused and resilient, as they pray that God will continue to strengthen Engineer Ibitoye to stay committed to serving humanity.

Engr Prince Adeniran Felix Ibitoye Killomodemo KLM graduated in 1994 with a Second Class (Upper Division) from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and served with the Shell Petroleum Development Corporation (SPDC), Warri, Delta State.
