English Premier League title favorite Liverpool has been eliminated from the Championship side Plymouth Argyle. The Championship side produced a classic performance to offset Liverpoo. Plymounth Argyle who are rock bottom in the league scored a second half penalty to qualify to the next stage of the competition.
Liverpool manager Arne Slot made 10 changes from the side that thrashed Tottenham to reach the Carabao Cup final and he paid the price for that. Plymouth made the most of the opportunity to secure a place in the fifth round as they capitalized on that.

Plymouth were awarded a penalty after Harvey Elliott’s handball, Ryan Hardie drilling home the spot-kick in emphatic fashion. They also got a second but Hardie’s shot was turned on to the post by Liverpool keeper Caoimhin Kelleher.
Liverpool applied some pressure in the closing stages, but keeper Conor Hazard was ready as he made fantastic saves.
