The Nigerian Police has arrested a 10-years old for defiling a child in his neighborhood. According to reports this ugly incident happened in the South-south part of the country. It happened in Akwa Ibom precisely, the name of the child is withheld for security reasons.
It is also fathered that the child which this ten years old rape is only three years old. This has raise so many questions as people are asking where the boy must have seen such act that he now had to replicate it. While many say it could be based on the kind of movies the boy have been watching others are saying maybe he saw his parent do it and so he wants to it as well.
Another conversation in the neighborhood is that police should release the boy and arrest the parent as it is clear case of neglect from them. Matters of rape and child abuse is one which has become rampant in our today society but no one will ever imagine a boy of ten can carry such thought in his heart.
Parents are advised to caution and sensor the kind of movies their children and also the kind of music they listen to. Today we find people celebrating infants who sing 18+ rated songs and call them smart but it has imprinting negative things in their heads which could birth something bad like this very one.
As at the time of this report, we are not sure if the police has arrested the parents but we are confident that the ten years old is still in custody.
