In a shocking turn of event Champions League winner Paris Saint-Germain came from 2-0 done to beaten Tottenham Hotspur on penalties to win the 2025 UEFA Super Cup.
The European champions were a goal down in the 38 minute of the game as they headed for the half time break. Upon arrival into the second half, Tottenham doubled their lead to 2-0.

It looked like everything was going as planned for the English Premier League side until the 86th minute of the game. Although Spurs looked destined for glory they were unable to close it out as substitutes Lee Kang-in and Goncalo Ramos sent the game to penalties.
Portugal star player Vitinha put PSG’s first penalty wide, but his team-mates were flawless with their other four spot kicks. Van de Ven had his penalty saved and Mathys Tel also missed his as well.
While Ramos, Dembele, Lee, Mendes all scored except for Vitinha, Solanke, Bentancur, Porro all scored too but goal scorer Van de Ven, and Tel missed.
With that, PSG was crowned the 2025 Super Cup winners. It’s a good comeback after losing to follow London team Chelsea last month in the Club World Cup.
