Manchester City’s Champions League survival has taken a very difficult turn as they lost 2-3 to the defending champions Real Madrid in from of their fans. They started the game on high spirit as Haaland found the back of the net in the first half of the game.
Things were looking all good until Real Madrid hit man Mbappe got the equalizer in the second half. Manchester City soon got back in from after they were awarded a penalty and Haaland scored. Real, however, hit back with four minutes left on the clock through their former player Brahim Diaz. When it now looked like they will decide the winner in Bernabeu as it looked like they were going for a draw, Bellingham finally hit the target.

The Englishman slid in from close range to leave the holders as firm favourites to reach the knockout stage in next week’s second leg at The Bernabeu. City who has been having a very difficult season will now look to turn things around when they travel to Spain.
The defending champions Real Madrid are however confident the they definitely win at Bernabeu. It will be very hard to see Manchester City turn things around in their current state.
